Ok so it seemed that today was a LONGGGGGGGGGGG day, lmao...we got up late around 9:30 am, Lacie woke and proceed to once again throw-up, YUCK!! so I go to cancel our day with the other Melissa but she refuse to give up on me and so after a while of talking we decide we are going to try it out and go over but first we have to get dresses, so while I am getting ready and getting the diaper bag ready I let the kiddos watch noggin in my room:


Soon after we are on our way to the store to get the last of the ingredients for our tamales, as we pass the bakery, the super sweet guy there gave each of the kiddos a cookie, as you can see Lacie was eating hers all nice while Alek shoved the whole thing in his mouth then promptly asked for another one, LMAO:


Soon we were ready to check out and the kiddos were BEGGING and SCREAMING(in Alek’s case) for candy and at this point my morning is making me want to cry and I say FINE!!!! And do something I never do which is to break down and give in….boy did I regret that decision, as soon as he finished his candy he went into a FULL OUT screaming melt down, laying on the floor and screaming and kicking, I truly wanted to cry at this point, but I am thankful to Lacie who just sat there watching Alek, I could almost hear her mind saying "you are so going to get it Alek, glad its not me….” . LMAO…..


Soon we were on our way to Melissa’s at this point none of us had eaten lunch so I stopped and got some Chicken nuggets for the kiddos, Lacie was being a goof ball:


Once again Alek had another HUGE!!!!! Melt down, thank GOD the “other” Melissa was there and after about 30 min she calmed him down enough to eat:


But still not completely happy about it:


The Adults and Miss. Elizabeth ate YUMMY California sushi rolls:


We then started the LONG process of making the YUMMY tamales, we looked at what we needed and saw that i forgot the lard, how do I miss that?!?!?! LMAO but soon Melissa found some in one of her many hiding places for food(but only after we had sent poor Megan off to get more, lol):


Soon we were mixing:

Soon we noticed we were one down Alek had Passed out playing with favorite new toy(melt downs are hard you know), lol….look you can see daddy in the pic:



The tamales took FOREVER(as in HOURS) to cook so they set up the water slide to Entertain the kiddos:



Poor Layla had a melt down, she refused to go down the slide, lol….Ms. Megan ended up having to take her home…..



After telling Lacie if she didn’t go down she would go home she was soon sliding her way down having a blast:



Soon we were back inside and were taking the finished product out of the steamer:

Lacie and EG sat at one table, and the rest of us at the big table………look at my plate sooooooo good!!!!



Melissa gave Alek tongs to eat, lmao


It was so great to see him try and get the food up to his mouth...


.After dinner Melissa and Alek were “treating” the dogs..alek had so much fun doing it..


Then the cat came and he gave it a treat…..


Soon Melissa was making him give her kisses for a treat also(dark chocolate) ……..


Alek LOVED this toy, he stayed down stairs with us all day just napping and playing with it: first on the couch:


Then on the front room floor………


Then on the Kitchen floor, lamo…………..


After clean up it was tie to relax before we went home, Alek and Ms. Mary sat in the kitchen and ate ice pops…..


Soon after we went home and the kiddos went to bed, off I go today was a long but great day!!! Thanks Melissa and Megan!!!
